1 Your account is subject to our Standard Overdraft Practices. If your account lacks sufficient funds (based on your available balance) to pay a check, preauthorized transfer, or other debit activity presented for payment, we may either return the item (non-sufficient funds/NSF) or pay the item (creating an overdraft/OD) at our discretion, which means we do not guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of transaction. Under our Standard Overdraft Practices we may authorize and pay overdrafts for checks and other transactions, including automatic bill payments, made using your checking account number. You should let us know if you do not want us to pay overdrafts on your account. If we do not authorize and pay an overdraft, your transaction will be declined. Unless you tell us otherwise, we will not authorize and pay overdrafts for everyday debit card transactions or ATM transactions. Overdraft Protection with Reg E Opt-In extends coverage to include the payment of ATM and everyday Debit Card transactions if you provide your consent to have these type of transactions covered. If we pay an item (creating an overdraft/OD) you may be charged a fee of $32 per item (based on the accounts actual (ledger) balance). For consumer accounts only, we will not charge you an overdraft item fee if your account is overdrawn by $10 or less and the maximum overdraft fees we will charge you is $160 per day. If the account remains overdrawn for ten (10) consecutive business days, a $5 continuous overdraft charge will be assessed daily, starting on the eleventh (11th) day, until the account is no longer overdrawn. The order in which we process and pay items may not be in the same order in which they occur which can affect the total amount of overdraft fees charged. For more information about overdrafts, please see your Consumer Deposit Account Disclosure section titled Understanding Overdrafts and Non-Sufficient Funds. You can remove Overdraft Protection and/or Overdraft Protection with Reg E Opt-In extended coverage at any time by contacting us. We also offer other overdraft service options which may be less expensive than our Standard Overdraft Practices, such as an automatic transfer from another account you have with us, or line of credit (subject to credit approval).
