Isabella Bank Announces Promotion of Harry Steib to Regional Vice President

Mike Williams, market president for Isabella Bank, announced the promotion of Harry Steib to regional vice president and regional branch manager.

In his role, Steib is responsible for managing four branch managers in the east region, overseeing staff at the Freeland branch, leading the bank’s community involvement in the Great Lakes Bay region, and supporting business development in the Freeland market.

Steib said his goal is to foster a cohesive work environment for Isabella Bank employees across branches in Midland, Bay, and Saginaw counties, while also developing the Bank’s management team and strengthening community relationships.

“I’m very excited to see this promotion come Steib’s way,” Williams said. “He brings strong banking experience and a commitment to both our team and the customers we serve. I look forward to seeing what he will accomplish for the Bank and the region.”

Steib has been with Isabella Bank since 2012. He joined the bank as a branch manager and has held a variety of leadership roles, building extensive experience across multiple areas of banking. He began his career in banking as an office manager and personal banker.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Central Michigan University. Steib is also a graduate of the Michigan Bankers Association’s Perry Schools of Banking and holds a Trusted Advisor designation. He has completed the Dale Carnegie Leadership Program and was a participant in Leadership Saginaw. 

Steib said community involvement is a priority. He volunteers with Junior Achievement, teaching financial literacy to youth. He currently serves as Tittabawassee Township supervisor and sits on several township boards, including the Downtown Development Authority and Road Commission. He is a past president of the Freeland Community Chamber of Commerce and a past president and current member of the Freeland Lions Club. He also serves as stewardship and finance chair at First Baptist Church Midland.

Steib lives in Freeland with his wife, Cathy. They have two sons, Tyler and Quinton.
