Isabella Bank Announces Promotion of Miles Coffland to Vice President

Isabella Bank President Neil McDonnell announced the promotion of Miles Coffland to vice president and information security officer. Coffland will continue to coordinate security awareness, vendor management, business continuity, and identity theft education for the Bank.

“We are pleased to recognize Miles on this well-deserved promotion,” McDonnell said. “He brings valuable experience and strong commitment to protecting the assets of both the bank and our customers. I look forward to his continued leadership and contributions in this role.”

Coffland began his career in public accounting before joining Isabella Bank in 2003 as a trust officer and assistant vice president with Isabella Wealth. He later transitioned to assistant vice president and senior auditor before becoming the bank’s information security officer.

Coffland earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in accounting from Central Michigan University. He is a certified public accountant and a graduate of Cannon Trust School, the ICBA Audit Institute, the Dale Carnegie Leadership Program, and the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce Rollie Denison Leadership Institute.

Coffland said he values the opportunity to give back to the community where he works and lives. He supports the Kiwanis Club of Mt. Pleasant and The Care Store and helps coordinate the Isabella Bank United Way Workplace Campaign. He is a past board chair at United Way and a past president of the Mt. Pleasant High School Booster Club.

Coffland lives in Mt. Pleasant with his wife, Rachelle. They enjoy spending time with their five adult children, Cameron, Carson, Caiden, Michael, and Zackary, and their grandson, Brooks.
